Does Your Room Need Cleaning? – HSK 2 Reading Practice

Introduction

How do you practice reading at an HSK 2 reading level? You read as much as you can with characters and use pinyin and translations as needed. Lucky for you, we have just what you need right here. In this HSK 2 reading practice we’re going to look at a conversation between a hotel employee and a guest at a hotel. Try the following approach to this lesson:

  • Try and see if you can read through without looking at the pinyin. You probably won’t get everything but hopefully you can read some of it.
  • Play the audio recording by a Native Chinese speaker. Follow along and find what you missed.
  • If there is anything you didn’t catch, try listening again! If you still can’t get it, you can hover over the words to see pinyin.

After the lesson, we have links to a couple other lessons that we think you might enjoy. If you’re ready to explore all of our lessons, try downloading the “Du Chinese” app, the #1 app for Chinese reading practice. You’re going to love it!
